# Create packages

`POST /v2/packages`

**Base URLs:**

- Sandbox: `https://api.sandbox.bobgo.co.za`
- Production: `https://api.bobgo.co.za`

**Authentication:** Bearer token required (see the Authentication page).

Creates one or more packages. Send them as an array in `packages`, even when
there is only one.

| Field | Type | Required | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `packages` | array | yes | The packages to create. |
| `packages[].name` | string | send it | What your team picks the package by. |
| `packages[].length_cm` | number | yes | Greater than 0, at most 1000. |
| `packages[].width_cm` | number | yes | Greater than 0, at most 1000. |
| `packages[].height_cm` | number | yes | Greater than 0, at most 1000. |
| `packages[].is_default` | boolean | no | Make this the account's default package. Only one entry may set it. |

## Response

The packages you sent, as a **bare array** rather than wrapped in an object:
