Rates

Ask the couriers what a consignment will cost you to ship. The markup on your Bob Go plan is included; none of the checkout rules, rates-at-checkout markups or exclusions you configured in Bob Go are applied. For buyer-facing prices use Rates at checkout; the difference is explained in Important concepts.

Rating is the step before booking. A shipment on a service level the couriers did not offer for that lane is still created, and then fails with submission_status: "no-rates" once Bob Go rates it, so rate first even when you already know which courier you want.

POST /v2/rates	Quote a consignment across your couriers.
GET /v2/rates	Read the rates on a rate request you already made.
